On Friday July 7, the Chesterfield County Police Department will participate in a football camp at L.C. Bird High School. We will partner with Milestones to Manhood, Boys to Men, and Therapeutic Application Practices. Our goal is to bring in approximately 100 to 150 Chesterfield boys, aged 12-17, as well as some L.C. Bird High School football players, and have them participate in a mini football camp run by Anthony Harris, a former L.C. Bird and UVA football player. Mr. Harris is currently playing for the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League. He previously played for the Minnesota Vikings from 2015 to 2020. There will be a question and answer session with Mr. Harris as well as a meet and greet where he agreed to sign autographs and take photos with the boys.
